To celebrate the sparkling romance between Michelle and Travis Krabbenhoft, as well as Michelle’s 16-year commitment to serving our country, this patriotic-styled photoshoot in Denver, Colorado represents a strong love and dedication to the red, white, and blue. Villani Photography was inspired to do this themed styled shoot to highlight the amazing women in the military and their spouses who support them. Just in time for summer and the Fourth of July, this photoshoot incorporated patriotic festivities of sparklers and red, white, and blue flowers.
Michelle is active in the United States Air Force and after initially getting engaged, Michelle learned she would be doing a lot of the wedding planning overseas. With the help of her loving partner, and the wonderful technology of Skype, she was able to pull off a beautiful wedding. Planning a wedding is alone overwhelming, trying to do it in a war zone overseas deserves a salute. Michelle and Travis will be celebrating their one-year anniversary this October.
Michelle wore her medals on her wedding dress to represent all of her military accomplishments. She has eight prestigious medals. Since the photoshoot was inspired to honor women in the military and represent their strength and dedication, the vendors showed her beauty and poise through her fabulous wedding gown, professional makeup, and hair and had her military merits pinned to her gown. This patriotic styled wedding shoot was inspired by strong pride for our country and the soldiers and their families who put their lives on hold to protect it.
The Franciscan Event Center in Colorado has a beautiful gazebo that was the perfect focal point for this session. The strong white marble seemed very fitting to represent the strong, dedicated woman that Michelle is. The florist weaved white and red carnations, which represent love, between the pillars of the gazebo and hung a stunning floral centerpiece at the top. The floral bouquets had red roses, blue thistles, and white blooms for an American touch, with texture of bursting flowers to represent fireworks.
This photoshoot was a wonderful way to honor the women who dedicate their lives to serving our country as well as their spouses who support them and love them unconditionally, despite distance and any tough times.
